Fordyce is just down the road from Rison, and I took this photo of the old railroad station while waiting for Jim to pick up cleaning nearby. There is a railroad festival every year in Fordyce which is a really big deal. I can’t wait to attend our first one.
I’ve been gone for a while, and found a gentle nudge from a dear young woman to get back into the swing of things in here. So I’ll just have to put my quilting aside occasionally, grab a heavy coat, and get outside to explore my home territory with my ever-ready little digital camera. Sorry for the absence, everyone, but hey! I’m back! (Thanks, Kim!)

You are more than welcome!!! Quilting is great but I sure do miss seeing pictures from our beautiful home state (mainly the trees)!!! Have a great weekend and please stay warm.

I like the old train stations. Neat that they have a festival around the train theme.
